Our Winemaking Process
All our wines are crafted from 100% Tinta de Toro, a variety that has been perfectly adapted to this region for over 2.000 years.Tinta de Toro has never been affected phylloxera, so all our vines are planted directly on their original rootstock, pre-phylloxera, ungrafted vines.
A Legacy of Winemaking Excellence
Founded in 2000 and run by Victoria Benavides, the winery takes its name from the former owner of the vineyard, Elías Mora.
Our philosophy: the winery close to the vineyard, -where ancestral knowledge meets modern technology- and at its heart, barrel aging. We use only natural products are used to age the wines: oak, natural cork and glass.
